The weekend of March 15/16 marks the 50th anniversary celebration for Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Phoenix, Arizona.
Saturday, March 15
Morning Golf Scramble at Continental Golf Course will be followed by the evening’s 50th Anniversary Banquet at Chaparral Suites in Scottsdale (reservations for both events are requested) — 5:30 p.m. reception and 6:30 dinner.
The evening program will feature special music, ministry memories shared by past Senior Pastors, special recognition of charter members, and much more! Complimentary dinner tickets are available through a generous donation from two member families for those who might not otherwise be able to attend. Simply contact the church office to claim your banquet ticket.
Sunday, March 16
50th Anniversary Celebration Worship at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m., featuring founding pastor Philip Gangsei as preacher and Bishop Steve Talmage as presider with music by our reunion choir. If you would like to sing with the choir, use the event link to contact the church.
